The Vulnerability of Art

I truly think artists must be bold people. Albeit, a certain type of bold.

To write, to sing, to perform freely you must be free from the concern of others.
Art is revelatory. It shows who you are. This is a vulnerable thing

Art is completely and totally unnecessary in life. Yet it exists.
I think art is one of the biggest evidences of God's existence. It wasn't necessary. We don't need it, but it does something to people. It speaks to them.
